Terms and Conditions

By requesting a quote, approving an estimate, paying a deposit, or allowing work to begin, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.

We install residential and light commercial fencing in the Fargo–Moorhead metro. Materials commonly include vinyl, wood, chain link, and aluminum. The final scope is the version written on the signed estimate or work order.

• • Online estimates are ballpark figures for planning only. Final pricing follows a site visit and measurement.
  • Written estimates are typically valid for 30 days unless noted otherwise.
  • Pricing may change due to material availability, site conditions, add-ons, or design changes requested by the customer.
  • Sales tax and permit fees apply when required by law.

• Project start dates are scheduled after deposit and final approvals.
• Schedules can shift due to weather, supply delays, or prior jobs running long.
• The customer agrees to provide clear access to the work area on installation days.

• The customer is responsible for obtaining HOA approvals and any required permits unless we agree in writing to handle them.
• Underground utilities must be located before digging. We coordinate standard utility locates through 811 where applicable. The customer must identify private utilities such as sprinklers, landscape lighting, or invisible pet fences.

• The customer confirms the property lines and any easements. We install based on the layout approved by the customer.
• We are not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate surveys or unmarked private utilities.
• Grading, tree roots, rock, concrete, and hard soils can affect installation methods and may require additional labor or materials.

• Wood is a natural product that can have knots, grain variation, and color differences. It can expand, contract, and weather over time.
• Vinyl and aluminum are manufactured materials. Color lots can vary slightly between runs and suppliers.
• When exact color matching is important, please discuss options with your estimator before work begins.

• Changes requested after work begins must be approved in writing. Additional charges will be added to the final invoice.

• A deposit may be required to order materials and reserve an installation window.
• The balance is due upon substantial completion unless a different schedule is stated on the estimate.
• Late payments may incur a late fee or interest as permitted by law. Title to materials may remain with Quality Fence LLC until paid in full.

• Most products include a manufacturer warranty. Specific terms are provided by the manufacturer.
• We provide a labor warranty for installation problems for a limited period stated on your invoice. Damage caused by misuse, weather events, improper maintenance, or normal wear is not covered.

• The customer agrees to basic care such as keeping soil and mulch from contacting wood pickets and posts, adjusting gate hinges and latches as hardware settles, and avoiding impact or heavy loads on the fence.

• We may photograph completed work for portfolio and social media. If you prefer not to have photos used, please tell us in writing before the project is completed.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quality Fence LLC is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the contract price for the project in question.

• We aim to resolve issues quickly. Please contact us first to discuss any concerns.
• If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved within 30 days, the parties agree to pursue small claims court or arbitration as allowed by law.
• These terms are governed by the laws of North Dakota for projects in North Dakota and the laws of Minnesota for projects in Minnesota.

• If materials have not been ordered and work has not been scheduled, cancellations may be made without penalty.
• If materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled, reasonable restocking or scheduling fees may apply.
